Launching Monday September 14th- we will have a guided prayer walk available through downtown Vancouver. This is self guided and you can access the guide any time and any day that works for you. Make sure to stop at the art wall under the UC alcove and leave your name or a short message for the community, sharpies are available in the lock box located at the wall, the code is 806 We are grateful to join with you in this guided prayer walk. This route highlights some businesses, parks, housing, churches, and public buildings. Allow about 45 minutes to walk and pray through the route. **In Preparation…** We take seriously the calling God has given us to be a Kingdom presence in the heart of Vancouver, Washington. We desire to join God in loving the people who live, work, and play in this city. We hope that this city will be a better place for the fact that we are here. This is a partnership with Father, Son, and Spirit, and not something we do alone. For that reason we intend to spend this hour in conversation with God as we walk the streets of the downtown, inviting His will to be done in Vancouver, Washington as it is in heaven. By praying in the streets rather than in our “cloister,” God can stir our hearts with the needs of our city. So let’s walk, paying attention to the people, the sights, the sounds, the smells of this place, using these as prompts to thankfulness, request, or blessing for the people and businesses we encounter.
