Our new position

The Elders of Union Chapel have made a decision to change our position regarding Women in leadership.

To learn more we recommend  listening to our most recent sermon series

"Renew: Women and Men in the Story of God"

You can also read and explore our position paper by reading it HERE

There are additional resources for further learning and exploration HERE

  • Chapel Kids now has classroom options for all children from 1 yr up to grade 5. We will continue to support families that choose to keep their children in the service or choose to worship from home by making activity boxes available. Elementary level kiddos will be asked to wear a mask in the classroom and we do ask for families to practice self health screening. Grades K to 5 will all be in one classroom for now as we continue to work on building our team of volunteers- contact if you would like to join the team!
  • Emmaus Youth Contact Ben Ritter with any questions- Middle school meets every Tuesday from 7-8:30 and High School meets every Wednesday from 7-8:30
  • September Stroll - You are invited to talk a walk through downtown and the Vancouver Barracks on September 25th at 9:30 AM. The group will meet at Heathen Brewery and the walk takes about one hour- after the walk those who wish can stick around Heathen for a meal together.  Contact Glenn Durden with any questions
  • Volunteer Opportunity! Vancouver School for the Blind is looking for folks to pair with students for tandem bike rides. You can join for as many or as few rides as you want and rides take place in the afternoons between 3:30 and 5:00. Contact Tracy Spohn for all of the details and to sign up to volunteer

If you regularly give in person on Sunday Mornings, we ask that you begin to do so through our ONLINE GIVING PORTAL. Thank you for continuing to give to Union Chapel in this difficult time.
