Our UC Hall Gallery will host an Exhibit on the theme of Lent/Easter during the month of April. You are invited to participate by sharing your creative reflections and meditations. This will include all media - writings, poems, music, macrame, pastel, calligraphy, collage, pencil, and so on and on! Lent is a period of time before Easter that Christians have traditionally used for self examination, repentance, and fasting (from a variety of things) in order to redirect ourselves from distractions and focus on our relationship with God through the work of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures that UC will be meditating on are from the statements of Jesus “I Am” as recording in the book of John. Take a look at these for inspiration for a new work or consider one you have done in the past. We will be hanging the exhibit on March 28 at 12:00 pm. Pieces must be framed and wired for hanging. (We will be available to receive your art on another date by arrangement.) This is a juried show. Please submit the information as soon as possible so that we can make the signage of your story.
