The Longest Night- An Advent Service to Voice Sorrow in a Season of Celebration The service will include a liturgy of Scripture, singing, prayer, shared stories, and an invitation to receive anointing. Purpose: Make space for encounter with Christ. Embrace the rhythm of waiting, longing, and loss during Advent. Offer a place to honestly name & express lament. Honor the stories of hope amid darkness from the local congregation. Reflect a spiritual formation structure of movement.
